annie eure wearing her red jackent shares her cruising experience eWho Says the Best things in life are Not Free?

Growing up in a country where the method of travel is so prevalent is truly one of life’s blessings.  I grew up in a time where having a car was a luxury, so I know when things are working in my favor.  Who would have ever thought that I would become a frequent cruiser, cruising on one of the finest cruise ships in the country.

Well, I am truly living that life style. I have never been much of a lover for water-travel, especially large oceans of it, but I have found that when I am on the ocean, I see life from a total new perspective. Life is wonderful, and somehow, my problems seems very small.  The ocean is breath-taking, the air is fresh, and the people on the cruise ship are happy to be there.  It is almost like being on a different planet.

I am writing this blog, because I would like to see more people cruising in their 20s 30s, and 40s. This group would truly enjoy all the amenities that a ship can provide. Most of the travelers are 50 and above.  That is wonderful, but we need to encourage our younger generation to join in the FUN!  After all, cruising is for everyone, and all ages.

I am aware that some cruise ships cater more to the younger generation like Carnival, and Disney Cruises, and that is a good thing. If I could speak to the Ship Owners, I would encourage them to built activities that cater to all.

People think cruising is outrageously expensive, and yes, it can be, if you don’t plan. But, if you have traveled very much in your life, you would realize that there are lots of added costs when traveling by land.  Cost such as hotels, taxi, parking, food, meals three times a day, and entertainment.  So, now Let’s look at the cost for a 7 day all inclusive Caribbean Cruise.  No one can put a cost on the beautiful scenery you will experience on the ocean. Add those same cost as above, and you will see that the cruise is much cheaper, yet the experience is much greater. You only pay for alcohol, beverages and any personal shopping you may desire while cruising on the ship.

After cruising a few times, my excitement and experience was shared with many of my family and friends, and the Cruise line have a wonderful referral policy that they reward on board credits to anyone who shares their experience with others and encourages them to cruise on their next trip.  This has proven to be a wonderful way to get your credits towards your cruise fee, and can diminish your total cruise cost. Yes, your cruise expenses can be absolutely free!
