What Women Need to Know About Men

about annie eure and husband sharing what women need to know about meMen do not look, nor think the same way as women

Understanding men is not an easy task for any women who desires to find the right man in her life.  This blog will assist you in thinking a bit deeper before taking every word as face value.  We will discuss a few things to consider.  Men do not look, nor think the same way as women.

A matter of fact, they are the opposite of women and in most cases think differently. Yet, men can be compatible. What a man tell you many times is not what they mean.  And men, this is for you. Women say and do things the opposite of what men may understand.

That is why relationships can be complicated.  Let’s focus in this Blog on one area and probably the most important communication factor between the opposite sex.  There are a few things ladies we must learn about men, and the earlier we realize this, the better.

As Women, we like to build lasting relationships. We also desire intimacy and companionship in that relationship. Finding a true mate in today’s society is not easy to do. So many times we find ourselves settling for less.

In most cases, men are looking for women who they can just have fun with for the night. Men call this “Playing the Field”. Men sees it as, if nothing is broken, why fix it.  These men ladies are not looking, nor are they ready for a lasting relationship or commitment.

When it comes to falling in love, men love deeply. When they fall for you, it is hard for them if they ever have to break away.  They don’t handle broken relationships well, and when they get hurt by a woman, it is hard for them to trust or love again.

Men are much more cautious when beginning new relationship than women.  Women will find a few qualities in a man they admire, and they will quickly tell their family and friends about him, and move forward towards a committed relationship. She wants it to be permanent.

When a woman cannot get a commitment for marriage, she is much more quickly to suggest moving in together than the man.  This sometimes is an open door ticket for the man to take advantage of the opportunity with the understanding that he can still have his freedom to roam with other women on the side.

It is important that women take a step back, slow down and evaluate the full picture of that relationship.  If he is willing to move in with you, it does not mean he is ready for a committed relationship. In most cases, it mean the he is willing to take a chance for a “free ride”.  Men are not stupid ladies.  If he can get a free ride, why would he go out and buy a car?

You see ladies, we often tell ourselves that he just need time, and you can change his mind and drive him to marriage, and living with him will prove to him that you both make great companions, but most of all it allows you to prove to him that you can be a good wife and will make a good mother to his offspring. Well, nothing could be further from the truth.  Marriage is not based on none of those things.

Marriage is based on completion.  You see ladies, Men are incomplete without a women. When we try to complete him in a sexual way before the commitment of matrimony happens, his desire to keep searching for that completion will continues.  God made man to desire a woman (He called her his wife) to complete him physically, mentally and sexually.

He made her beautiful, gentle, and desirable physically, mentally and sexually for that reason. But it must be done in the way God intended it to be.  In our society today, Sex is a dirty word. But it is not dirty when done in the right way, and it is up to us (women) to bring that beautiful intimacy back into our relationships with men (our husbands) by acknowledging that Marriage was never man’s idea, but Gods.

What Can You Do to Fight Off Hate

Three women Fighting off Hate; 3 friends smilingAmerica, Replace Hate with Love

Can you imagine what impact we could make in our society if every new day began with you asking yourself this question, “What can I do to fight off Hate?  We all live in this world.  And most people if they would be honest, would tell you that they enjoy living with the freedom they have in this country.

But all of us do not live here equally.  Our country is a great place to live, but let’s be honest with ourselves our country need help in so many areas. Today we are just going to focus on one of those ways, and that is “Hate”. So, what is hate?  Hate is a feeling of intense or passionate dislike for another.

We often want to say that “Hate” is an illness, but it is not. Why? Because we choose to hate.  We do not choose to be sick. Our country is permeated with “hate”, and it spreads like Cancer. But again, it is a choice a person makes, and if you are not careful, your hate can become so strong and intense, that it will make you sick.

So what can we do to fight off this behavior called “Hate”?  The first thing you can do when you see this behavior taking place in your presence is to “Respond to it”. Don’t engage in it with the person dishing it out. If this person is using verbal, hateful language or remarks, meaning he or she is using racial slurs against another person, you take action, ask them, why did you have to say that?

Whatever response they give you, say to them “help me understand how those words will make the situation better”?  Whatever reason they give you, respond again, “Why was it necessary to say what you said”?  Keep at them with question after question, until they give out of reasons for their behavior.  Now, this person’s behavior probably will not change from just one person doing this, but it will make an impact if everyone responded in this like-manner, that person would soon lose their ability to have someone feed off their hatred, and it will begin to dissipate.

If all of us would ACT! “Say Something” in the face of hate, hate would find a way to disappear.  Hate feeds off others, and every time we allow a person to get away with hateful remarks or behaviors, it grows another inch.  And if you are not careful, you will began feeling the same way as the person using the hateful language. Nothing! Absolutely nothing warrants a hateful Act.

Let us look at the opposite counterpart of hate.  That is love.  So, when we express hate in our words and behaviors, we are actually telling others that we lack the ability to “Love”.  Sometime I feel that if we spent more of our energies learning different ways to express love in our daily lives, Hate would have no place to reside, and would find another country to live in.

So, how and where do we start.  We start to make a change NOW!  We encourage you to start, and to start slow. We need to get this right the first time.

Challenge yourself to begin a “Support Group”. Begin by calling your friends, co-workers, and church members. Before you know it, you will have reached 20, 30, 40 or 50 people that will have the same interest as you do, and that is teaching love instead of hate.  You will along with your group put guidelines in place to share with your community. That is why it is so important to reach out across communities, cities and states and get people involved.

If all of us would do this, the world would change for the better. Can I count on your support?  I welcome your comments.  Check me out on my Blog at: annieforsuccess.com.

Why A Virtual Pageant Experience

Teen Girl Queen wearing a crown, green gownVirtual Pageants help Gain Confidence in Girls!

A Virtual Pageant experience may be exactly what your daughter need right now with the Covid-19 Virus on the rise, and being under quarantine and social distancing for months now. This may be exactly what she needs.

As a Pageant owner for almost 20 years, and mother of 5 daughters, I learned first hand some of the struggles girls face in our society growing up which lead me to starting my own Pageant system.  Now, with the Covid-19 virus spreading through our communities, it has lead me to Virtual Pageants that reach girls and young women all over the world.

Virtual Pageants are a motivator for many girls and is the first step to gaining confidence to present themselves for a video competition.

Can you imagine what life has been like for our school aged girls and teens? Teens are active, and rely on spending quality time after school with friends and doing family activities, but this year has been so much different.

Instead of being outside over the past six months, girls have been spending most of their time at home, in their bedroom, using technology to communicate with their peers. Hoping things will get better soon. This is not the way things should be.

Let’s face it, life for most girls these days are not sugar, spice and everything nice – not even close. Girls have to put up with peer pressure to do drugs, lose weight, and experience with sex and relationships, all at earlier and earlier ages. And on the top of the stressors of school and growing up in a face-paced society, many girls don’t find the encouragement and support they need to protect them from harm at a very vulnerable time in their lives.

Mom, Dad’s don’t let social distancing keep your daughter from experiencing the excitement of a beautiful Summer, and an opportunity of a lifetime to participate in a Virtual Online Pageant. That is why I’m sharing this with every American family. Allow your daughter an opportunity to “Sparkle”.

Life is tough for girls these days. Don’t let this summer pass without enrolling your daughter(s) is completely over, do something that you can be proud of. Consider exploring a VirtualLady wearing hat and red blouse for her virtual pageant experience Pageant experience for your daughter.   This experience is meant for the whole family to enjoy. How Can We “Together” Change Racism in America

annie eure wearing red jacket; a professional career in redNo One is Born a Racist!

First understanding, that “No one, and I will repeat, No one was born in America a “Racist”.  Don’t you find it interesting that we are still in the year 2020, scratching our heads on how we may change the system of “Racism in our Country”?

Why is this such a hard and painful pill to swallow? If America is so great, why are we so afraid to listen to those who are driven to the streets to Protest to get those who need to hear us… to listen?

Can’t America see that every day in this country, people of color are faced with Racism on every spectrum? In neighborhoods, the workplace, traveling on american highways, while shopping in stores and malls, in the education system, and even in our place of worship.  But, only a person of color would know this. If you have never experienced “Hunger”, you will not know what hunger feels like. “Hunger, and Hungry” is not the same thing.

We think we know what it feel like to experience racism, but we don’t. All of us will feel hungry at some time in our lives.  But most will never experience “Hunger”.  Racism is similar to that, we know what the word means, but until you actually experience it in real time, we really do not know what “Racism” is all about. We may have seen it in action, but some live the experience every day in this country.

To my American friends, racism is a choice offense. It is not an accidental occurrence, It does not slip the tongue when speaking, and it does not go away with a simple apology. Racism is deeply rooted in the hearts of many in our society and a normal part of daily existence.

But don’t be dismayed by that, no one, and I say, no one was born a Racist.  A person is either born into a racist family, a family where their father, mother, sister, brother, aunt, uncle, grandfather, grandmother, or someone taught them to hate another human being.  You see, when a child is born into this world, they don’t know color. They learn in the same manner as teaching a baby how to eat, drink, crawl or walk. It is a learned behavior.

Racism is never an innocent offence, and if not dealt with in the correct manner, it will happen again and again. When we know better, we do better.  When a newborn baby grows to a certain age, they learn on their own how to crawl, and in no time to walk. Eventually they learn, how to put that milk bottle down altogether, and eat solid foods.

So, why are we still acting like newborns when it comes to “Racism” in our country?  I think we know better.  Why do we think it has continued to grow over 400 year now? It is bigger and stronger today than ever before.

Why do you think, it is taking a man, an “innocent man” such as “George Floyd” to lose his life so that America can unveil the “Blatant”  Racism that continues to exist in this Country?

Ask a man you know if America is the greatest country to live in. He may tell you that it is for some, but not for all. If racism continue to exist in this country as it is today, then it is not the greatest country for all of us.

This Country is plentiful for everyone. Let’s decide today to make it the greatest country to live for everyone. I am calling every American citizen to do their part for them, their children, and for the next generation. I will take all of us Black, White and all those in between. Let’s lock hands together and correct the wrongs of yesterday.

No blame! Clean slate for everyone! Start today! Right now! Whatever you see in this Country that does not feel right, look right, or act right, you will do something! Don’t just stand and look! ACT!

This is what will change Racism in America!
